Mission:
To ignite growth for individuals, teams, and organizations through conversations at the intersection of personal mastery and operational excellence.
vision:
To see people deliberately present, full of vitality, and grounded in their noble purpose.
values:
- deliberately arranging work in such a way we create margin;
- finding joy in the journey // in every stage, at every age;
- choosing to be inspired, regardless of circumstances;
- intentionally looking for the silver linings when things get wonky;
- being deliberately uplifting when talking to (and about) other people and (especially!) yourself;
- appreciating (and acknowledging) good when you see it;
- being incrementally better today than yesterday;
- bringing all of your authentic self to everything you do.
About Jen Moore
Farm kid. Optimist. Change agent. Operations & productivity wonk. Swimmer. People promoter. Knitter. Walking pom-pom. And not necessarily in that order.
philosphy
I quibble with the idea of so called “work-life balance” because that implies the two halves never meet. But there’s only one you as a resource (and you aren’t Clark Kent … people will still recognize you without glasses).
When you leave home to go wherever it is when you go away from home, you don’t stop being a daughter, sister, dog mom, confidant, introvert, father, son, night-school-one-more-class-to-finish student.
And when you punch off the clock, you don’t stop being a plant manager, systems analyst, pro golfer, supervisor, colleague, invited speaker, event planner, sixth-month-on-the-job-accountant.
You are who you are, in all your full, authentic self-ness … no split personality, no days off.
… it’s all one life …
Personally
I am a change agent, adept at recognizing and affirming what works, eradicating what doesn’t, and building what should. My superpower is bringing order out of chaos and manifesting the unseen.
I am ridiculously optimistic. Looking for and finding opportunity in the midst of the craptastic doesn’t equate to being unrealistic. It’s simply a matter of intentional observation and perspective.
I believe being happy is a choice, and one only you can make. I believe in hopeful expectation and expectant hope. I believe there is beauty anywhere and everywhere you look for it. And that’s the point: you find what you look for.
I believe life’s too short not to laugh … and too long not to laugh. And I’d rather be around people who take the work seriously, but not themselves.
I think and plan head–looking around corners, if you will–and then check out the rear view assessing outcomes and looking for trends.
I am determined to spend more time here, when now touches eternity, being and experiencing life in the moment it happens.
professionally
I am a systems-thinker and process-tinkerer. I’m passionate about understanding and improving how things work (including myself), addressing what doesn’t, and implementing meaningful change for lasting impact.
I specialize in shepherding turnaround projects. I’m known for the ability to simplify complex situations, identify innovative solution frameworks, and provide meaningful feedback to keep projects moving forward.
I have a record of strategic problem-solving and navigating change driven by upgrading service delivery models.
I see every challenge as a chance to be and do better. I believe in celebrating achievements, big and small, because every step forward matters. 🎉
I am a boundary-spanner, with experience convening internal, external, and cross-sector stakeholder groups in the private, independent, and public sectors.
I thrive in fast-paced environments, and focus on building high performing teams. I do this by cultivating the unity found in diversity, leveraging individual strengths, and harnessing the power of collaboration.
generally
- I ask a lot of questions. Because context and understanding matters.
- I use a lot of metaphors, too. Because visualizing something helps it stick and stay.
- I push for shared vocabulary, because words matter. But people use them differently.
- There will be #gratuitousgsd 🙂
